BACK OF HOUSE SPECIALIST (FULL TIME)
The Back of House Specialist at Julia Moss Designs is critical to making sure our store remains stocked with the merchandise our customers want. This position is also responsible for packing product shipments that go out to customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Filling and preparing customer orders including gift wrapping and pre-shipment packing procedures
-Performing routine inventory tasks
-Maintaining a clean workspace
-Unpacking and processing incoming vendor shipments
-Assisting with customer service for shipping issues such as missing or
damaged packages (from customers or vendors) and returns
-Assembling, cleaning and labeling of goods upon receiving vendor orders
-Keeping inventory of and ordering packing/shipping supplies
-Moving heavy boxes/items
-Bringing creativity and ideas to the rest of the team
-Assisting in others areas as needed and performing other duties as
assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
-Must be 18 years of age or older
-Effective communication and customer service skills
-Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
-Detail-oriented and thorough
-Experience with shipping and receiving preferred

Sales Associate (FULL TIME)
Do you like building creative displays? How about organizing a tabletop spread?
As a Sales Associate at Julia Moss Designs you will be managing day-to-day
sales, working with customers, and assisting in the presentation, cleanliness, & atmosphere of the store.
Your job is to assist in creating a happy, healthy environment, and to boost sales by sending customers home with items that they love.
We are looking for someone who is genuine and engaging and brings exceptional standards when it comes to serving customers. Someone that loves the art of selling and thrives in a fast paced retail environment where you help customers navigate solutions to create beautiful spaces.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Following opening and closing procedures
-Greeting and cultivating relationships with customers
-Providing product knowledge and helping customers with purchases, product questions, gifts, etc.
-Keeping the store floor organized and clean
-Handling product returns and exchanges
-Assisting with merchandising and presentation of products throughout the store
-Bringing creativity and ideas to the rest of the team
-Assisting in others areas as needed and performing other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
-Must be 18 years of age or older
-Sense of Design: various styles, colors, and textures
-Effective communication and customer service skills
-Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
-Regular attendance is essential to this position
-Strong work ethic with a drive to exceed expectations
-Excellent people person
-Works well in a fast paced sales environment
-Open to learning and growing independently and from feedback
-Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work weekends
-Ability to walk and/or stand throughout a full day of work
-Experience with retail sales preferred
