22cm Do Not Litter Bag Vase
With the paper bag vase from 1977, Tapio Wirkkala iconizes the pop art that was leading the way at the time the vase was created.With a wink of the eye, he succeeded in creating an object that became a Rosenthal classic and has been produced for nearly four decades without any changes.
Tapio Wirkkala (1915–1985) worked for Rosenthal from 1956 and designed a number of pieces including the tableware series Century, Polygon and Rotunda as well as the cutlery classics Taille and Curve.
